Spanish authorities reported today, Wednesday, the death of 63 people after massive floods swept away cars, turned village streets into rivers, and disrupted railway lines and highways. The ongoing storms that began yesterday, Tuesday, caused flooding in large areas of southern and eastern Spain, specifically in the eastern region of Valencia, where hundreds of homes were submerged, while rescue teams continue to help many residents affected by the massive floods.
