special aircraft carrying 110 students evacuated from Iran landed in Delhi early on Thursday, said media reports.

The students landed in Delhi after traveling continuously for three days. They had earlier been shifted to Armenia as part of an Indian government-coordinated evacuation effort.

An online report by India Today said there were more than 4,000 Indian nationals still in Iran, with nearly half of them being students pursuing higher education.

On June 15, the Indian Embassy in Tehran issued an advisory urging the Indian nationals and persons of Indian origin to "avoid unnecessary movement and stay connected through official channels for updates.
