Hezbollah launches rocket attack on Israeli forces in northern Israel

Hezbollah said early Wednesday that it launched a rocket barrage targeting a gathering of Israeli forces in the town of Metula in northern Israel.

In a statement, Hezbollah said the attack was carried out on Wednesday at dawn in response to what it described as ongoing Israeli attacks on dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut's southern suburbs.

The group said the rockets targeted a concentration of Israeli army forces in Metula across the border.
