Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam discussed bilateral relations with French President Emmanuel Macron during a phone call between the two leaders.
In a post on Platform X, President Macron stated that the conversation emphasized the importance of reforms and reconstruction in Lebanon as essential steps toward progress and sustainable development.
He reaffirmed France’s strong commitment to supporting Lebanon in its recovery efforts and in safeguarding its sovereignty.
Macron also announced that he will meet Lebanese President Michel Aoun in Paris on Mar. 28.
