The Philippines' total external trade in goods increased by 6.1 percent in November to 17.33 billion U.S. dollars, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Friday.

Of the total external trade in November, the agency said 60.1 percent were imported goods, while the remaining 39.9 percent were exported goods.

The PSA said the balance of trade in goods, or the difference between export and import value, in November registered a trade deficit of 3.51 billion dollars.

China was the Philippines' largest supplier of imported goods in November, the PSA said.
