Jordanian, Russian Foreign Ministers Discuss Developments in Syria, Gaza

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held discussions, in a phone call, with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov focusing on the recent developments in Syria, efforts to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the phone call, Safadi emphasized that halting the aggression on Gaza and ending the resulting humanitarian crisis are essential first steps toward de-escalating tensions in the region.

Additionally, Safadi warned of the severe consequences of ongoing Israeli aggression against Syrian territory, condemning it as a flagrant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation.
