Twelve people, including nine children, were injured when a bus they were traveling in veered off the road and overturned Sunday in Ragama, in Sri Lanka's Western Province, the police said.
According to the police, the bus was carrying a group of scouts returning from a jamboree. Investigators suspect faulty brakes may have caused the accident.
About 20 people were on board at the time of the crash, the police said, adding that further investigations are underway.
