During his meeting with the Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Chinese president expressed satisfaction with Vietnam's political and social stability, as well as the significant achievements that have contributed to strengthening its international standing.
The Chinese president, who is visiting Vietnam, noted that the two countries share a shared historical responsibility to achieve national renaissance and accelerate development. He called for consolidating the concept of a community with a shared destiny and enhancing comprehensive strategic coordination between the two sides, which would contribute to building a more robust and sustainable partnership.
He also stressed the need to implement China's three initiatives: global development, global security, and global civilization, with the aim of protecting the principles of international justice and preserving regional and international peace and stability.
In the context of advancing development, the Chinese President called for strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, and expanding partnerships in emerging sectors such as 5G, AI, clean energy, and the digital economy. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the multilateral trade system and working together to achieve a more open, balanced, inclusive, and just economic globalization.
