Highly rated Colombian forward Neiser Villarreal has completed his move to Cruzeiro after parting ways with Millonarios, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Monday.
The announcement came after the 20-year-old trained for the first time with his new teammates, having agreed to a five-year contract with Cruzeiro in September.
"Welcome, Neiser Villarreal," the Belo Horizonte-based side said on social media. "The young Colombian attacker now officially begins his journey at Cruzeiro."
Villarreal made 26 appearances for Millonarios after being promoted from the club's youth academy in January.
He was the joint-top scorer at this year's FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Chile with five goals in five matches for Colombia.
