The official sighting of the Ramadan crescent moon has been confirmed by the Tamir Observatory in Saudi Arabia.

As a result, Saturday, March 1, 2025, will mark the beginning of the holy month for Muslims in the country.

The specialized committees responsible for moon sighting have announced that the crescent was clearly visible, meaning that fasting will commence in Saudi Arabia and other countries that follow the same sighting method
