Russia's largest airline, Aeroflot, said Tuesday its passenger traffic dropped 2.3 percent year on year in the first 10 months of 2025 to 25.2 million passengers.

Despite the decline, the company's passenger turnover increased by 5.2 percent during the same period, Aeroflot said.

The number of international passengers carried by the airline rose by 8.8 percent to 8.16 million from January to October, while domestic passengers fell 6.8 percent to roughly 17 million.

In October, the airline carried 2.51 million passengers, an increase of 1.3 percent year on year, with the number of international route passengers up 14.7 percent, it added.
