Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) jumped 22.2 percent year-on-year in October, accelerating from the 7.0 percent growth recorded in September, according to data released Monday by Enterprise Singapore.
Both electronic and non-electronic exports contributed to the strong performance, rising 33.2 percent and 18.8 percent, respectively.
Non-oil re-exports also posted robust growth, climbing 30.1 percent year-on-year in October after a 20.2 percent increase in September. The expansion was driven by higher shipments of both electronic and non-electronic products.
Overall, total trade rose 23.2 percent year-on-year in October, extending the 14.6 percent growth seen the previous month.
