Chinese snowboarder Su Yiming claimed the silver medal in the men's slopestyle event at the FIS Snowboard World Cup Aspen on Saturday.
Su delivered a strong performance in the second run of the final, scoring 84.18 points to place second overall. American rider Jack Canter won the gold with 85.16 points, while New Zealand's Dane Menzies took bronze with 83.68.
The Aspen stop is one of the most established venues on the World Cup circuit and is known for its technically demanding slopestyle course, which combines rails, jumps and creative features to test athletes' versatility and consistency.
This was Su's second career podium finish in the World Cup slopestyle discipline. He also finished second at the Aspen event last season, making the U.S. resort a familiar venue for the Chinese rider.
The 21-year-old rose to international prominence at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, where he captured gold in the men's big air and silver in the slopestyle, becoming one of China's breakout stars of the Games.
Su has maintained solid form during the 2025-2026 season. Prior to Aspen, he won back-to-back World Cup titles in the big air events in Chongli and Beijing.
