The dollar index, which measures the US currency against major currencies, decreased by 0.03% on Thursday, reaching 107.88, after a one-week high of 108.52 in the previous session.
The dollar slightly fell against the Japanese yen by 0.06%, reaching 154.33 yen, but remains close to the highest level recorded Wednesday, at 154.80 yen.
Meanwhile, the euro rose by 0.14%, reaching 1.0398 dollars, and the British pound reached 1.2456 dollars, up by 0.09%.
The Chinese yuan was traded in offshore markets at 7.3105 against the dollar, rising by about 0.02% in early Asian trading.
