Twin Afghan road mishaps injure 12, some in critical condition

 A total of 12 travelers sustained injuries, some in critical condition, in twin road accidents in northern Afghanistan's Baghlan province on Friday, provincial police spokesman Mawlawi Shir Ahmad Burhani said Saturday.

The accidents took place on the main road linking Khinjan district to the provincial capital Pul-e-Khumri on Friday afternoon, injuring a dozen, including women and children, the official said, adding the badly injured commuters had been shifted to a hospital in Pul-e-Khumri city.
