The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, stated on Saturday that Russian air defense forces, destroyed seven drones in the Kirovsky area of the region, located south of Moscow .
Shapsha wrote on his Telegram channel : " Last night , Air defense forces destroyed seven drones in the Kirovsky area."
The governor confirmed that there were no casualties, noting that one of the drones fell on an uninhabited building, and an operational team is working at the scene while rescue services are extinguishing the fire .
In the Bryansk region, Governor Alexander Bogomaz announced the destruction of four drones without any casualties or damage, adding that operational and emergency services are working at the site .
It is worth mentioning that Ukrainian forces routinely target Russian areas near their borders, particularly those populated by civilians and critical infrastructure . In an attempt to instill fear, lower morale, and undermine public confidence.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need to expand Russia's military operation in Ukraine .And push Kyiv’s forces away from Russian regions to the range of the missiles they are using to strike Russia .
